All Saints Grange Bowling Club is based in Clayton le Moors. The bowling club’s membership includes freemasons from Bank Terrace with King Oswald Lodge 462 in Accrington and Coronation Lodge 3479 in Blackburn.
The bowling club has an external Disabled WC that is used by the club and local groups, some with special needs that need use of the bathroom. The external wall needed repair and an alarm to be fitted for the assistance of users of the facility.
A grant application was made to the East Lancashire Masonic Charity, who provided a cheque for £740 for the work.
The East Ribble District Charity Steward WBro Mike Stubbs with the Assistant District Charity Steward WBro David Gill presented the cheque to the club Chairman Geoff Thornley, after the Vice Chairman Bob Schofield had rounded up an impressive number of members for the presentation on a wet and cold Saturday morning.
