Bury District Charity quiz night on Tuesday 25th October 2016 really was a good night. The quiz master for the evening was the District Charity Steward, Stephen Holland, who did a cracking job. A case of wine awaited the winning team with more wine and whiskey as raffle prizes.
The quiz comprised of two general knowledge rounds, a music round and a picture round. Fine Dine provided a hot pot dinner which was lovely to say the least.
Mike Gibbon’s team won the quiz. The Deputy District Chairman Malcolm Ashton had been handicapped by a distinct lack of sports based questions.
Huge thanks goes out to Steve Holland and Steve Clark who worked hard to put the event together raising over £250 and providing a good fun and social evening which was just a little different to a masonic evening.
