On Monday 8th May the East Manchester Community Noat was re-launched at Ashton Under Lyne. The President and Chairman of the project met with WBro Ed Beaman, Deputy Chairman of Manchester’s City East District.  The President of the project, in his speech made mention of East Lancashire Masonic Charity and the Masonic Charitable Foundation, thanking both organisations for their valuable donations. The Lord Lieutenant of Manchester then cut the ribbon, once again opening the boat for use. A number of the VIPs then took a short trip on the boat.

One of the boat’s crew was a Manchester Mason from Albatross Lodge.

The President was also presented with a Plague for the Kidney Association and this will be affixed to the boat.
