Mrs Karen Hall and the Provincial Charity Steward WBro Kirk Mulhearn, were pleased to receive a £700 donation on behalf of the ELMC, from the East Ribble Assistant District Charity Steward, WBro David Gill. This was following the Provincial Charity Stewards meeting at Hewlett Court on a very snowy evening!
This had been raised at the annual East Ribble District Winter Draw, held during the Chadwick Weekend at Lytham St Annes in January. Funds are raised by selling draw tickets to the District members in the lead up to the draw and to the guests in attendance at the Weekend. They are then split between the District Charity Stewards fund and the ELMC.
Grateful thanks to all who bought or sold Draw tickets, donated prizes, distributed prizes to the lucky winners and who also organised the draw itself.
