Following a successful District application to the ELMC Grant Making Committee,Thwaites Empire Theatre will benefit from two defibrillators, secure cases and training in the main Theatre and in the adjoining Community Dance/drama studios and offices area.

The Theatre defibrillator will be for public use of the Theatre Patrons and the Studio/Office building defibrillator for use by the community groups and families who use the facilities in this area across the year. Training and delivery of the defibrillators is planned for the next few weeks.

East Ribble District Chairman WBro David Lightbown took great pleasure in presenting the Grant to Theatre Chairman Michael Berry, whose fellow board members have kindly arranged for our District to receive either Friday or Saturday night slot of for another potential fundraising show in 2018. This will include full Theatre volunteer support, stage management, lighting and much more, continuing our long standing Community Partnership with the Theatre.
