Probably the most important event in any lodge’s calendar is their Ladies Evening.

On Saturday 6 June 2026, the Brethren of Crompton Lodge 8879 and their guests gathered at The Gables (Shaw Masonic Hall) for their annual Ladies Evening, enjoying a wonderful evening of friendship, celebration and entertainment.

The occasion provided an opportunity for members, partners and friends to come together in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, reflecting the strong bonds of fellowship that are at the heart of Freemasonry. Guests enjoyed excellent food, lively company and an evening filled with laughter and memorable moments. The evening’s entertainment was provided by world-class entertainer Martin Gregory-Lambert. 

The Worshipful Master and his wife, Ruth, extend their sincere thanks to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. Special appreciation is also expressed to the staff at The Gables for their hospitality and professionalism, which contributed greatly to an enjoyable and memorable occasion.

The Ladies Evening once again proved to be a highlight of the Lodge calendar, and all who attended look forward to many more happy occasions in the years ahead.
