Members from around the province, along with their families and friends, braved the winter snow and ice to pack out St Ann’s Church in Manchester in what has become an excellent annual event.
Many members consider this to be the start of their Christmas celebrations, and they were certainly given a show by the Chetham’s Chamber Choir, with whom the province has a special and lasting relationship.
Welfare officers from around the province, along with some last minute weather related able replacements, delivered the lessons. At the end of the service the Provincial Grand Master Sir David Trippier wished everyone a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
