Always looking for new ways to get our message out there, the Provincial Trailer was out near  Long on (or third man depending on the bowling end!) on Friday the 3rd of August at Enfield Cricket Club in Accrington.
This was for the Sri Lankan XI V an Enfield Select XI, a benefit game to support Sri Lankan Professional players, playing in teams across East Lancashire this year.  The supporters enjoyed a fantastic game, with the Enfield Select XI narrowly, but deservedly winning in the last over. A Sri Lankan Curry, knocked up by the players themselves, topped off a very enjoyable evening with the weather managing to stay dry all evening.
Sincere thanks to WBro’s Bruce Pollard and Ian Johnson for their delivery, including setting up, manning and removing the Trailer. The District really does owe them their sincere thanks for organising the Trailer logistics across the year. They were supported on the night by WBro Dev Patel and Bro Tom Nicholson, who also arranged for the Trailer to be present at this event.
