On the 28th of October, the District of Salford held a dinner to mark the appointments and promotions of those who missed out on the opportunity to attend Provincial Grand Lodge and Chapter during 2020.

The event started in the bar at 18:30 for pre-dinner drinks and canapes with a welcome address by the District Chairman.

The fantastic catering team served a first-class meal at Hemsley House, which was enjoyed by all.

Following the meal, there were toasts and addresses from the Assistant Provincial Grand Master for Salford, Robert I. Frankl, and John Roberts, who read out a heartfelt message from Tony Freemont, the Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals who couldn’t attend in person.

The evening was received so favourably by all involved, the Chairman is looking to make this a yearly event to honour those brethren and companions who have been appointed or promoted in Provincial Grand Lodge and Chapter.
