On Friday the 3^rd February 12 Brethren together with their Ladies flew to Belfast to enjoy an eventful weekend and also to attend the County Down Provincial Meeting
After a leisurely first afternoon, the Flame restaurant in Belfast was the venue for an excellent meal and entertainment by a Michael Buble’ impressionist.  After the meal the party visited one of Belfast’s oldest Pubs and enjoyed a great pint of Guinness in a bar with a walnut interior and stained glass windows,
On Saturday the Provincial Meeting was conducted in a similar format to our own and was attended by 8 PGMs in company with a number of Deputies and PAGMs.  Everything ran very smoothly and the party from East Lancashire was honoured.
Sunday started with a full Irish breakfast followed by a trip to Crumlin Road Gaol. A must to visit, so much history, built on the same lines as Pentonville Prison in London. The party dined at the prison and were treated to fantastic food which was reasonably priced.
