During the recent 80’s themed Chadwick Weekend that was organised by WBro Joe Lamb and his wife Doris,  the East Ribble District Charity Steward’s Winter Draw took place. WBro Ian Johnson the Assistant District Secretary, was invited to draw the raffle with 35 prizes to be won, including the top prize of a 28″ LG Smart TV and other prizes that included £25 Sainsbury voucher and a litre bottle of Drambuie.  WBro Roy Greenhaugh from Peaceful Valley Lodge was the lucky winner of the top prize.  The Lodge and Chapter Charity Stewards had done a fantastic job by selling of £1,330 of raffle tickets.  On the night WBro Jim Smith also held a “snap raffle” for 3 litres of Jack Daniels which raised an additional £120, bringing the Winter Draw total to £1,450.
The East Ribble District Charity Stewards issue grants to local good causes at their regular meetings.
East Ribble District Charity Steward WBro Mike Stubbs along with the Assistant District Charity Steward WBro David Gill presented a very happy Wbro Roy Greenhaugh from Peaceful Valley Lodge with the first prize TV for the Winter Draw. Roy was surprised and very pleased with his first prize.
