The purpose of this letter is to establish who is or is not interested in playing golf with other brethren.

If you do not want any further communication on these matters please advise our secretary.

If you would like to join our Society. At a cost of only £10 per annum please arrange with your bank to set up a standing order payment for 1st January (annually) and inform us it is in place. Our bank details are on the entry forms attached. Then e-mail our secretary to inform him of your details i.e. contact details, golf club and handicap.

The object of our society is to assist a gathering of like-minded Brethren in a game of golf and a social gathering afterwards – Just like Lodge!!

We usually hold our Invitation Day at Knott End Golf Club earlier in the year but during these strange times we had to cancel

And have now e-arranged the event for the Wednesday 15th May 2024.Playing for the “Jack Levene Trophy”

This is open to Masons and Non-Masons and if you cannot form a 4 ball just advise the Secretary and he will assist.

Throughout the season we also play a knock-out competition for the “Arthur Axford Trophy” which is open to all members and is played throughout the season. Which gives you a chance to play at other golf clubs.

Our major event is the “Derby Cup” which this year will be played at Bramall Park Golf Club on Wednesday 10th July 2024. This is open to ALL East Lancs Masons (you do not need to be a member of the society) with an official handicap. The event is followed by a dinner and the presentation of the cup by our Provincial Grand Master. And re-presented at the Provincial Grand Lodge meeting in November
