WBro D R Dean & Bro James A Kelly, WM

Installation of Bro James Kelly
Loyal Lodge No. 5040

On 1st December 2016, Loyal Lodge No. 5040 held its Installation Ceremony at which
WBro Michael Wardle PProvAGDC installed his successor Bro James Kelly for his first time into the Chair of King Solomon.
Loyal Lodge was consecrated in 1928. Sadly Bro James Kelly will be the last WM to serve a full term in Loyal Lodge as, in December 2017, he will be installing his successor before the Lodge hands in its warrant due to diminishing number of members.
The Lodge were pleased to receive WBro David Dean PAGDC as the Representative of the RW Provincial Master at their Installation meeting in December. Also in attendance were WBro Ken Olive a friend and guest of the Lodge, WBro Mark Reader who sang the Master’s song, whose rendition was well received. Also in attendance was Bro Andrew McAllister-Brown a guest of WBro John Gore the most elderly/active member of Lodge. WBro Gore will celebrate his 85th birthday in March and was invested to the office of Tyler on the night.
The Worshipful Master presented WBro Dean with a cheque for the ELMC for £500 on behalf of the Lodge.
