WBro’s Ian Whitehead and Syd Halliday, happy in their work.
In preparation for the Tercentenary Open Days on the 9th and 10th of September, work has begun on the refurbishment of the main dining room (Rink Suite) at Hemsley House. Those involved in the work included The District Chairman, WBro Peter Hegarty, a Past Chairman, WBro Malcolm Roberts, WBro’s Syd Halliday, Ian Whitehead, Les Stevens and Jozef Markisz. Behind the camera (mainly because of his painting talents) was WBro Stan Jackson.
Great progress has been made (in a relatively short space of time) in getting the room ready for September. The team have been extremely busy this year, having already completed work on the smaller of the dining rooms (Walker Suite) and the main hallway.
