Sunday the 12th of November 2017 saw the Annual Remembrance Parade and Service at the Cenotaph, Queen’s Square Rawtenstall. By way of a change and in order to add more colour to the proceedings, the Rawtenstall Masons who attended the parade chose to wear a variety of collars, featuring both Craft and other degrees. In the image above from left to right we see WBro Pilling (Allied, Grand Council collar), Bro Ward (Rose Croix 18th collar), WBro Anderton and WBro Marsh (Craft Provincial collars), WBro Hardman (Rose Croix 30th sash) and WBro Russell (Mark collar). In the image below, in front of the Cenotaph, the Rawtenstall Masons are joined by Jake Berry, the Member of Parliament for Rossendale and Darwen (and also a Freemason).
