On Sunday, 26th May, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Wbro Wes Marchant, accompanied by his wife, Liz, and the Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals, EComp Steve Boyle (who is also current Provincial Senior Grand Warden), accompanied by his wife, Tracey, welcomed Southern Area Brethren and Companions who had received their first provincial appointment or been promoted. Those attending were accompanied by their wives or guests, as were members of the Provincial Area team.

The pleasant weather, which bathed the elegant hall in sunshine, and the Sunday lunch served to all those assembled, enhanced the occasion. The opportunity to meet and catch up with friends and their wives on such an occasion is yet another of the benefits of being a Freemason.
