WM John Curley installed his successor, WBro Peter Brown, ably assisted by his Installing Officers.
The 3rd Working Tools were presented, in full, by Bro David Adams.
The 2nd Working Tools were presented by Bro John Baggs and the 1st Working Tools were presented by Bro Neville Brown (to his son the Master).
The Master’s Address was given by WBro Michael Porter.
The Wardens address by WBro Peter Brown (WM), and the address to the Brethren was given again by WBro Michael Porter.
The ceremony was conducted by the Director of Ceremonies, WBro Nigel Johnson PProvGSuptWks.
The ceremony was enjoyed by the APGM WBro A John Pearson PSGD, who was accompanied by his District Delegation.
This is the second time that Peter has been in the Chair. If his performance on the evening is anything to go by
he will prove to be a very effective Master; so it looks like Rose of Lancs is in for yet another successful year.
Peter’s Dad, Neville Brown, is a highly skilled wood turner. At the social board, he presented his son with a
wooden gavel manufactured by his own hands.
WBro Nigel Johnson gave an excellent rendition of the Master’s Song. Thus ensuring that everyone in
attendance had a very enjoyable evening.
