East Lancashire Masonic Charity has helped fund a number of defibrillators across the Province—and, put simply, this vital equipment saves lives.

One of the latest beneficiaries is **All Saints Grange Bowling Club**, Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington, BB5 5PS.

With more than 60 members, the club is a vibrant part of the local community. Its beautifully maintained green provides a peaceful oasis in the heart of Clayton-le-Moors.

The driving force behind the successful application was **W.Bro. David Abram**, a member of the club and of **Perseverance Lodge No. 345** and **Hyndburn Installed Masters Lodge No. 8766**.

Our Area Charity Steward received a very warm welcome when he visited the club on a glorious summer morning to mark the installation of the new defibrillator. He is pictured alongside David and fellow club members.

A wonderful example of Freemasonry working with local organisations to provide practical support that could one day make the difference between life and death.

**May it never be needed—but may it always be ready.**
